How Pricing Is Determined

Our pricing reflects fair market value for your equipment, calculated from real-time resale data, current demand, and the cost of testing, grading, and processing each device. Here is what drives the number you see:

Equipment type and category. Windows laptops and desktops, Apple devices, CPUs, RAM, drives, and GPUs currently carry the strongest market value.

Make, model, and year. Newer-generation hardware and enterprise-grade configurations recover more than consumer-tier or older equipment.

Specifications. Processor, memory, storage capacity, and graphics affect resale tiering.

Condition. Working, repairable, and non-functional units are graded separately. Cosmetic condition factors into resale-ready pricing.

Quantity. Larger lots streamline logistics and processing, which is reflected in the offer.

Logistics. Packing materials, white glove packing services, and shipping are handled by our team. These costs are subtracted from the buyback value so you see the net number, not a headline figure that shrinks at payout.

What you see is what you get paid.

We do not pad estimates to win the lead and then negotiate down at processing. The figure we confirm is the figure you receive once equipment is audited and matches the submitted description.

What We Buy

Equipment we purchase

  • Laptops including Windows, Apple, and Chromebooks
  • Desktops including Windows and Apple workstations
  • Servers including rack, blade, and tower configurations
  • Tablets
  • Component parts including CPUs, RAM, hard drives, SSDs, and GPUs
  • Networking equipment and other enterprise IT hardware

Equipment we do not buy

We do not accept CRT monitors. For all other equipment types not listed above, submit your inventory and our team will confirm whether it falls within our current buying scope.

Minimum quantity

Our buyback program is built for organizational inventories — fleet-scale lots rather than single devices, with smaller lots evaluated case by case. We routinely process pallet-scale and truckload-scale lots, and we accommodate full data center decommissions, end-of-lease returns, and large 1:1 device refreshes.

You receive chain-of-custody and processing documentation for your records and compliance audits.

Why Sellers Choose IT Revalue

Verifiable proof of data destruction

Every device is wiped using specialized device auditing software. The software archives a record of each device's erasure in our secure database, ensuring no data remains and providing verifiable proof of the destruction process. Certificates of data destruction are available on request.

Full logistics handled

We provide packing materials, white glove packing services, and shipping coordination. You do not need to source crates, organize freight, or manage carrier handoffs. We handle the chain from your dock to our facility.

Zero landfill commitment

We manage end-of-life electronics equipment based on a reuse, recover, dispose hierarchy. Functional equipment is tested, graded, and remarketed. Non-functional equipment is processed through our downstream partner network so valuable materials are recovered and toxic substances are responsibly handled. No equipment from your inventory will end up in a landfill.

Over two decades of ITAD experience

PN California, the company behind IT Revalue, has built the operational systems, certifications, and partner networks that allow us to pay fair value and document the work since 2001.

Pricing Questions

The tool generates a working estimate based on the equipment details you submit and current market data. Final pricing is confirmed within one week after our team reviews the inventory and clarifies any specifications. The confirmed offer is what you receive at payment, not a starting figure subject to reduction.

Logistics costs are subtracted from the buyback value rather than billed separately. You see the net offer up front. This includes packing materials, white glove packing services if requested, and shipping coordination.

Payment is issued once processing is complete. This includes the equipment audit, data destruction, and verification against the submitted inventory. Timelines vary with lot size, but we are built for timely reporting and payment, which is one of the reasons clients choose us over larger ITADs with slower internal processes.

Non-functional equipment is graded separately and either repaired for remarketing or processed through our recycling channels. The buyback offer reflects the condition mix of the actual lot. Equipment that cannot be resold still has recovery value through materials reclamation, which is factored in.

Yes. We serve clients both nationwide and internationally. Submit your inventory and location, and our team will scope the logistics and confirm any compliance documentation required.
